The main body with base is of close grain Cast Iron construction and generally built with spaced walls and ribs to ensure proper alignment and rigidity. Drawing block is made of specially Graded Casting, hard Metalised and Ground at wire line to increase abrasion resistance. Gear of Phosphorous Bronze and Worm is High Carbon Steel immersed in oil bath reservoir in the body of the machine to absorb its heat of action while in load to maintain a longlife of gear set. Shafts and worm are fitted with extremely heavy duty Ball and Roller Bearing. Oil seals are provided where necessary. Die and Block are water cooled, arrangemehts of water circulation fitted inner side of the drum for cooling the drum and intensive water cooling arrangement provided for the Die box to ensure life of dies. The machine is supplied with guards.

    The raw materials, (wire rod) is Pointed in the pointing machine and inserted through the Die positioned in the Die Box of the 1 st Wire Drawing Machine. The end of the wire inserted through the Die is fastened to a locking device attached to the drum. The drum is set into rotational motion, by the push bottom starter.
        The end of wire fastened to the block attached to the drum gets pulled & coiled around the Drum since the wire is getting pulled through the Die having higher inlet dia and lower outlet dia. the drawn wire diameter gets reduced. The starting end of the drawn wire is released from the lock of the 1st drum, is passed through the overhead loop and continuous pulley on the Drum and brought down and inserted through the Die of 2nd Drum and drawn through the die for further reduction. Thus the wire is drawn through all the wire drawing drums of a set in a continuous manner to get the required finished diameter of Wire.
When the drum of the last wiredrawing machine in the set gets fully loaded with the drawn wire, the machine will be stopped to unload the finished materials and then re-started.
         When raw materials one Budle finishes, the machine will be stopped and the end is welded to one end of another fresh bundle by the welding machine and the Process continues. Also in case of accidental snapping of wire between any of the drums, the snapped ends are welded by the help of the welding machine for continues processing.
